RCMP Swift 2

Swift Current RCMP are investigating two more incidents of theft in the area.

Police say a large number of batteries were taken from RVs stored at a compound on the 2000 block of Chaplin Street West sometime between September 12th and 14th. Wiring and cables attached to the batteries were cut off, causing thousands of dollars in damage and loss.

Then sometime overnight on September 19th, between 400 and 500 litres of clear diesel were stolen from a Bobcat and dump truck that had been working on a farm near Hazlet just off Highway 332. Police say the fuel is worth around $700.

Those with information are asked to contact RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
