The RCMP Musical Ride will perform two shows in Swift Current

The prestigious RCMP Musical Ride hits Swift Current for two shows at Kinetic Exhibition Park tonight and tomorrow.

Marty Chesser is the Officer In Charge of the Musical Ride and says it has been a Canadian tradition for many years, starting with the first one in 1887. He says the ride consists of 32 police officers riding 32 beautiful black horses doing calvary movements to music.

Chesser says the public can also meet the Riders and horses after each show:

Chesser says the Musical Ride will go rain or shine and the only thing that forces them to cancel a performance is lightning.

Shows go at 7:00pm each night, and tickets are available at Pharmasave or the Ag & Ex Office in the Palliser Pavillion for $5.00 for adults, and children 12 and under are free.
