Today is the Canadian Cancer Society's Annual Relay for Life.
It all goes in Shaunavon at the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Centre with registration at 4:30pm, followed by a stew supper from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.
The Opening Ceremonies take place at seven o'clock, followed by the survivor and caregiver laps. Currently, 76 cancer survivors are registered for the relay.
Entertainment begins on the stage tonight at 8:00pm including the Shaunavon Public School and Christ the King School choirs, and Connie Sandberg and the Prairie Pals. Other events throughout the evening will include Zumba with Christine Ciona, Laughter Yoga with Joanne Gregoire and Yoga with Brenda Feurenstein. There will also be a massage therapist available throughout the night.
The Luminary Ceremony goes at 10:00pm and breakfast will be served from 5:30am until 6:45am Saturday morning.
Swift Current's Relay for Life will be June 7th at Riverside Park.
