The Saskatchewan Roughriders made a surprise move, picking up Quarterback Michael Bishop from the Toronto Argonauts in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

With the trade, fans are starting to think Bishop may soon replace number one QB Marcus Crandell after two-straight losses.

GM Eric Tillman says he's not even sure yet how Bishop will affect the quarterback situation, and a decision will be made in the next week or two.  He says Head Coach Ken Miller will have the final say when it comes to who will be the main man at the position.

Tillman adds that the plan now is to get Bishop ready in time for next week's Labour Day Classic.

The seven-year CFL veteran has seen limited action with the Boatmen this year, since the Argos got Kerry Joseph from the Riders in the off-season.
