The Memorial Cup will be handed out today in Rimouski, Quebec, and hopefully, the winners won't drop it this time.

The OHL champion Windsor Spitfires will battle with the WHL champion Kelowna Rockets for the title.  The Rockets claimed first in the round-robin, but the Spitfires have momentum from winning their last three games.

The Rockets lost their round-robin meeting with the Spitfires.

Meanwhile, the CHL year-end awards were handed out last night at the tournament.  Cody Hodgson of the OHL's Brampton Battalion won CHL Player of the Year.  Brett Sonne of the Calgary Hitmen was the WHL nominee for the award.

Brett Connoly of the Prince George Cougars was named Rookie of the Year, while Jonathan Blum of the Vancouver Giants picked up Top Defenceman honours.  Stefan Elliot of the Saskatoon Blades was named Scholastic Player of the Year.
