The communities of Shaunavon and Eastend recently held their Little Britches Rodeo, and organizers are calling the two day event a big success.

The Little Britches Rodeos are geared around kids and are developed to help kids interested in rodeo.

Committee member, Cam VanSandt says the number of competitors for both days was pretty consistent from last year's totals. "For both days there was, I think, there was close to 200 competitors. I know we had over 100 booked for Saturday and then Sunday was a little bit less. And that's just basically, I think, because we didn't have the Sheep Riding on Sunday. So, that took 15 competitors out of it. We only did that on Saturday."

No final dollars amounts raised are available yet, however VanSandt says that all money raised goes back into the Facility.
