The Provincial government announced a three-year plan to expand SaskTel high-speed internet and digital cellular service to almost every Saskatchewan community.

This is causing a lot of optimism for communities with just one or neither service, such as Lac Pelletier Regional Park.

MJ Kraft, the owner of Clancy's on the Beach, is happy the project will put small, rural communities on the same technological level as their larger neighbours.

Kraft adds that the addition of high-speed internet and cellular service will have many long-term benefits for the area, and will attract more visitors to the park.
