Icy roads played a factor in a minor car accident this morning.

Just before 7:00, a westbound truck was turning onto Lac Pelletier Trail when it slid into a southbound vehicle.

Corporal Nick Smith says that slippery road conditions were a factor in the collision, however  there were no injuries and charges will not be laid in the accident.

The RCMP are reminding residents to take it easy on our southwest roads and highways when icy conditions are apparent.
