Agriculture Minister, Mark Wartman, signing onto the deal that agrees to support harmonized trade in agriculture products within Canada.

As of yet, only six provinces have signed on: BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, PEI and the Yukon.

Wartman says they will continue to push for relaxed trade within the country.

He notes, in particular, Quebec’s insistence of blocking the sale of dyed margarine. Wartman says that hurts our canola industry.
