As part of Saskatchewan Multiculturalism Week, the Newcomer Welcome Centre has put together a list of cultural movies to be played each day of the week.
Executive Director for the Centre, Icasiana De Gala, says this week is all about sharing our community's vast number of cultures.
"We wanted to do something that would involve more people, where there's a mingling or coming together of newcomers and established community members in one area and they get the chance to share their culture, newcomers sharing their culture and Canadians as well sharing their culture with the newcomers."
"Tonight we'll be showing 'The Taste of Money', it's a steamy drama suspense film in Korean, and then tomorrow, 'Loose Cannons' which is a gay-themed comic drama in Italian, and then on Friday, 'Wadjda'. It's a movie about looking at the world through the eyes of a child, and it's from Saudi Arabia."
The doors open at 7pm, and everyone is welcome to attend.
