Week one of the Winter Olympic Games is done in Vancouver, and one attraction that has proved popular is the Saskatchewan Pavilion.

Organizers say more than 50,000 people have visited the Pavilion since the games opened a week ago, which is far exceeding original expectations.

Opening day on February 12th saw more than 7,000 visitors.  Since then, attendance has ranged from 6,000 to more than 9,000 people per day.

The Pavilion's website, www.saskpavillion.ca, is very popular too, averaging 2,500 hits a day since the Games started.

The Pavilion, operated by the Provincial Tourism Ministry, features Saskatchewan entertainment and food, among other things.
