Saskatchewan workers are earning around $936 a week on average, which sits way above the national average of $908.35.

Weekly earnings in 2012 jumped 5.0%, or about $45, this was the highest percentage increase in the country.

Economists in the province believe higher wages for people working in the province is a true testimony of economic progress, with increased salaries in a wide range of jobs, our province is in a great position to be a destination of choice for job seekers in Canada, and they're confident wages will continue to rise in 2013.

Saskatchewan had the lowest unemployment rate in the country in January of this year at 4.0%.
