Despite a good turnout at the Legislature yesterday for the Save Our Schools Rally, residents of rural communities don't feel any closer to a solution to the possible closure of rural schools.

Climax parent, Michelle Smith says the government still seems to be skirting the issue.

She says "it never actually comes down to answering quesitons that are bieng asked; when are they going to fund education, and when is education going to becomie important?"

Climax Mayor, Nancy Kirk says it seems they are trying to side-step the problem, adding the group wouldn't have had to travel to Regina for a rally if the government had been doing their job and had fairly distributed tax dollars.
