A Swift Current woman is facing charges of aggravated assault after police were called out early this morning.

     Police received the call at around 3:00am, responding to what started out as a domestic dispute on the city's south side.

     Twenty-six-year old Candace Dawn Bolton was taken into police custody and made her first appearance in Provincial Court earlier this afternoon.

     Police are unable to comment at this time regarding any injuries or other particulars of the alleged incident, but the victim is reported to be a 21-year-old male.

     Bolton is scheduled to re-appear in court on Monday afternoon.
