A handful of local businesses and residents will be gathered tonight to find out the finalists in a series of awards. 

The SCBEX Big Reveal is taking place at the Great Plains College the evening of October 6, as a private event to celebrate the top three nominees for eight different categories.  

Karla Wiens, the CEO of Swift Current and District Chamber of Commerce, said this will be the first in-person reveal since the pandemic.  

“We are thrilled to be back in person for our SCBEX 2022 Big Reveal Mixer event,” she said. “Our nominees have been invited along with their guests and our sponsors.” 

Wiens added that the Chamber will publicly release the finalists’ names after the event this evening via their social media platforms and a press release. 

The categories are Startup/New Business, Small Business, Medium Business, Large Business, Home-Based Business, Employer of Persons Experiencing Disabilities, Not-for-Profit, and Community Impact. 

Folks are welcome to attend the public SCBEX 2022 Award Gala at the Living Sky Casino set for October 28, when the winners will be announced and honoured.
