Yesterday, the Saskatchewan Health Authority declared what they termed a "multi-jurisdictional" community outbreak.

Stemming from a series of Full Gospel outreach events that took place in Prince Albert from September 14 to October 4, the events involved numerous individuals with close contacts in multiple areas across the province.

Contact tracing reportedly involves more than 100 people at this time, from various parts of the province.

There have been a high number of positive cases attributed to those gatherings, leading health officials to advise any individuals who attended to self-isolate immediately and contact 811 for a referral. Those individuals should also remain isolated until they have been assessed by their local public health unit.
