The Shaunavon Arts Council kicks off their new season of Stars for Saskatchewan Concerts Saturday night in Shaunavon.

Vancouver based Barney Bentall will start the season off as Arts Council President Terry Shields explains.

"He's kind of a well known musician," says Shields. "He's been creating music since 1978, and he's released three independent albums, seven studio albums. In the late 80's he was involved with the Legendary Hearts, they produced a platinum album in Canada, a number of hit singles and Juno Awards, so he's a very professional, very polished, and very engaging musician.

Barney Bentall performs Saturday night at seven thirty at Center Street United Church. Tickets are available at the door or from the Grand Coteau Center

Season passes for all 4 concerts in the series are on sale now as well $75 each or $150 for a family.
