The Shaunavon Co-op held their Annual General Meeting on Monday evening, where the organization reported another successful year in 2014 with profits totalling $2,037,199.00.

"We reached over $42.2 million in annual sales, and our Board of Directors have approved allocating back to our members $1,564,984 in equity," said Shaunavon Co-op General Manager Kevin Braun. "I'd like to thank our fantastic Co-op team, the Board of Directors and, most importantly, the members for supporting the Co-op. I feel very proud to be part of an organization that re-invests its profits locally in the form of economic impact, jobs, cash back and equity for our membership."

Braun adds that community support continued to be a high priority for the Co-op with a total of $35,000 donated to community groups and organizations.

He adds the organization has continued to improve facilities to better serve their members, with a new chemical shed which opened in Bracken in 2014 and a new Home and Agro Centre which will be opening in Shaunavon this year.

The Co-op's Equity Days will be held in the middle of June.
