This past Wednesday evening June 10th The Shaunavon High School honoured their students academic and athletic achievements in grades eight through twelve at their annual Colour Night.
The Top Academic Student award for highest average went to Katelyn Gagnon with an average of 96.86. Academic Awards in each school subject were also handed out by grade.
The Dwight Currie Ambassador Awards for Best School Ambassadors went to Rachel Davis and Josh Peterson.
The Athletic Awards are also a big part of the evening with the Kelly O'Brien Memorial Award for most dedicated football player going to Jared Stevenson and Kyle Dordu. And the Kevin Schuhmacher Award for dedication of time and effort to athletics going to Corey Bailey.
The Spirit Award was given out to Shay Hunter and Courtney Bredahl.
The Passing of the Colours also took place that evening welcoming in-coming Student Body President Cassie Hansvall.
