The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority will be providing 2 million dollars to more than 900 organizations across Saskatchewan. The grants are given as part of the SLGA's charitable gaming grant program.

"This represents the latest quarterly payment of the charitable gaming grant program, the funding that was provided supports a number of services that different groups and organizations provide in their communities that do a significant work, and SLGA is proud to present them with these grants." Said Spokesperson David Morris.

Among grants provided by the SGLA this quarter: Humboldt and area received $101,156; Yorkton and area received $84,291; Meadow Lake and area received $74,076; Moose Jaw and area received 467,016 and Swift Current and area received $59,924.

Groups to receive grants in the Swift Current area include the Swift Current Curling Club, Lions Club of Swift Current, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Life Giving Orthodox Church.
