Another relatively uneventful COVID-19 update was announced Sunday afternoon by the Saskatchewan Health Authority and provincial government.

The SHA announced one new case of the virus for the second-straight day. That case is in the Saskatoon region. There have now been 665 reported cases overall.

Meanwhile, no new recoveries were announced. There have been just two overall to report in the last three days. Still 628 residents have recovered.

That inches the active case total up to 24 - it's the first rise since Friday's update saw the total rise by a pair. The South region is still home to two of those active cases.

Two people remain in hospital around the province as well - an ICU patient in Saskatoon and a person in inpatient care in the North.

Adding 534 more tests since yesterday, 55,656 COVID-19 tests have now been performed province-wide.
