Travelers in Saskatchewan will notice some construction happening along major highways this summer.

Department of Highways Director of Communications, Doug Wakabayashi, says the TransCanada Highway and the Number 4 Highway will be resurfaced. Other projects include some work on the highway near Gull Lake and Highway 13.

Wakabayashi adds that construction season is now in full swing, and motorists are encouraged to use caution and slow down in the orange zone.

Wet weather will usually cause a halt in construction work.

The construction season usually runs until October, but they have been known to work until the beginning of November.
