Carol Wallace Practices for 55 Plus Summer Games

Coming up at the end of this month Swift Current is hosting the 55 plus Summer Games for the Southwest District.

Local Bowler Carol Wallace is looking forward to participating in this years event.

"The summer games this year are on the 31st of May in Swift Current, and it is the whole southwest Saskatchewan in this district.  We have bowlers from Maple Creek, Shaunavon, Moose Jaw, and Gull Lake we have a lot of bowlers come."

This will be Wallace's 3rd competitive year and she enjoys meeting and visiting with the many people who come from around the southwest.

"Its just a good opportunity I think to meet other people and get together and probably in the southwest there is over 200 people that come together.  We register in the morning and then play your games or do your sports all day and then we go back for supper and it is really neat," said Wallace.
