Four southwest hockey players earned honours at Prairie Hockey Academy's awards banquet Saturday night

Playing at the Caronport-based hockey academy, Swift Current goalie Chase Coward earned Co-MVP and Top Goalie of the Elite 15 Cougars.

Coward is coming off a season that saw him accumulate a 13-4 record, 2.71 goals-against-average, and .911 save-percentage.

He was listed by the WHL's Red Deer Rebels in late 2018 as well.

Hazenmore's Ryley Gross earned the Leadership award for the Midget Varsity Cougars.

The goaltender posted an .895 save-percentage and 3.33 goals-against-average in 12 regular-season games, while adding playoff marks of .919 and 2.45, respectively, over two games.

Gravelbourg-born forward Owen Neubeker was named Hardest Worker on the Elite 15 squad in a year that saw a goal and four points in 27 games with the Cougars.

Another Swift Current player rounded out the pack with multiple awards to his name.

Forward Noah Wills posted 24 goals and 59 points in 24 regular season games, along with ten points in four playoff games this season with the Midget Varsity Cougars.

That performance earned him Top Forward on the team, also adding an Academic Award for his off-ice efforts.
