A lot of questions have been asked lately on whether or not a Federal election could soon be underway.

With the Federal budget to be presented this month, there is talk of the Opposition voting against it and collapsing government.

Cypress Hills-Grasslands MP, David Anderson says he's heard varying opinions from the public on a potential early election, with some people saying it's time to go to the polls, and others saying they don't want an election.  Anderson adds that the government is ready for an election should it be called.

Other matters of confidence that are finding their way through Ottawa now are Canada's mission to Afghanistan, and tough crime legislation.
