Saskatchewan MLAs will be staying home today after all.

A planned recall of the legislature was cancelled on Friday, after a labour dispute with Saskatchewan Crop Insurance employees was resolved with a tentative agreement.

Back-to-work legislation to end that strike would have been tabled today had the agreement not been reached.

The contract provides unionized Crop Insurance workers a 5.5% wage increase over three years, retroactive to October 2009. The deal is subject to ratification.
