The suspect in a January 8th robbery at a business in Swift Current is being linked to eight other robberies since December 1st

A serial bank robber may have struck again.

Police believe that an unidentified man, who is connected to eight bank robberies across Western Canada in the last two months, held up another bank this week in Dawson Creek, BC.

RCMP in Dawson Creek say a man entered a bank Wednesday afternoon at 4:00pm, produced a firearm and demanded money, and then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured in the incident.

Police say the description of the suspect closely matched the ones in eight other bank robberies in BC, southern Alberta, and one in Swift Current on January 8th. He is described as a white male, between 25 and 35 years old with a slim build, 5' 6" to 6 feet tall, unshaven with a brown goatee or beard, and was wearing a black toque, dark sunglasses, dark clothing and gloves.

They are continuing to ask the public for information that can help identify the suspect, asking them to contact a toll-free tipline at 1-844-887-6287.
