Southwest football was represented over all three Grade 12 all-star games at the 2019 Football Saskatchewan Senior Bowl on Saturday in Regina.

In the 12-man game, Swift Current Comp Colts offensive lineman Dawson Abbott and Team South defeated Team North 10-7.

In the 9-man game, the Shaunavon Shadows were represented twice on defence. Defensive lineman Scott New and linebacker / co-team captain Ryker Larson helped the south to a 30-7 win over Team North.

Meanwhile, in the 6-man game, the Gull Lake Lions had two players on the defensive side of the ball as well.

Linebacker Braiden Leppa and defensive back Aidan Slade battled with Team South, but lost 78-14 to the North squad. Leppa was named MVP of Team South.
