A visit from the Easter Bunny could soon be followed by one from the Tooth Fairy.

With kids eating plenty of candy and chocolate this weekend, local dentist Dr Steve Veason advises everyone to make sure the sugar is taken off of your teeth as soon as possible, either by brushing and flossing.  If a toothbrush isn't close by, you can rinse the sugar off with water or chew a piece of sugar-free gum.

Dr Veason adds that coloured, hard-boiled Easter Eggs and fruit are some good alternatives to sugary snacks.  Also recommended are sugar-free candies, as they don't cause tooth decay.
