Teacher representatives from the Chinook School Division and the Holy Trinity School Division were in Saskatoon attending the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation Annual Meeting of Council.

At the meeting, councillors considered a study to explore the effects that a reduced legal minimum working age will have on schooling.  They also voted on implementing a study regarding the positive and negative implications of having public-private partnership schools.

Speeches were given by a number of individuals, including the Minister of Education, the Saskatchewan School Boards Association President, and the Canadian Teachers' Federation President.

Seven teacher representatives from Chinook and four from Holy Trinity attended the event.
