In the June 15 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting a total of 47 new cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 47 new cases there are 2 in the Far North West zone, 1 in the Far North East zone, 6 in the North West zone, 3 in the North Central zone, 1 in the North East zone, 12 in the Saskatoon zone, 3 in the Central West zone, 2 in the Central East zone, 14 in the Regina zone, 1 in the South Central zone, and 1 in the South East zone.

There are no new cases today in the South West zone.

There is 1 new case with pending residence information.

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 48,043, of which 722 are considered active.

There are 18 active cases in the South West zone - 2 in the South West subzone 1, and 16 in the South West subzone 2.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases is 70 (5.7 new cases per 100,000 population).

There were 4 new deaths reported today, bringing that provincial total to 560. One death was reported in the 80+ age group in the North Central zone, one death was reported in the 70-79 age     group in the North East zone, one death was reported  in the 60-69 age group in the Saskatoon zone, and one death was reported in the 50-59 age group in the South East zone.

There were 95 recoveries reported, bringing that provincial total to 46,761.

There are 97 people in the hospital. Eighty-two people are receiving inpatient care -10 in the North West Zone, 8 in the North Central zone, 1 in the North East zone, 29 in the Saskatoon zone, 5 in the Central East zone, 23 in the Regina zone, 2 in the South Central zone, and 2 in the South East zone.

There are 2 people receiving inpatient care in the South West zone.

There are 15 people in intensive care - 1 in the North West zone, 2 in the North Central zone, 6 in the Saskatoon zone, 1 in the Central East zone, and 4 in the Regina zone.

There is 1 person in intensive care in the South West zone.

To date, 891,190 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday, there were 1,478 COVID-19 tests processed.

As of June 14, there were a total of 11,750 variants of concern cases identified by screening in the province - 286 in the Far North West zone, 1 in the Far North Central zone, 79 in the Far North East zone, 752 in the North West zone, 590 in the North Central zone, 77 in the North East zone, 2,025 in the Saskatoon zone, 124 in the Central West zone, 629 in the Central East zone, 4,740 in the Regina zone, 869 in the South Central zone, and 1,113 in the South East zone.

There are a total of 397 in the South West zone.

There are 68 screened variants of concern cases with residence pending.

New lineage results are reported for 239 variants of concern today.

Of the 6,438 variants of concern cases with lineages identified by whole genome sequencing, 6,130 are Alpha (B.1.1.7), 231 are Gamma (P.1), 67 are Delta (B.1.617.2), and 10 are Beta (B.1.351).

An additional 6,880 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in the province, bringing the total number of vaccines administered to 910,322.

Of the 6,880 vaccine doses, there were 32 administered in the South West zone.

Seventy-nine percent of those over the age of 40, 74% of those over 30, 69% of those over 18, and 67% of those over 12 have received their first vaccine dose.

Saskatchewan is expecting 74,880 doses of Pfizer, and 89,880 doses of Moderna this week.
