Saskatchewan is a great place to live - but more work needs to be done for this to be a great place to work and invest.

That's the word from Nola Joorsity, CEO of the Insitutute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan. She presented the Sasktchewan Checkup at the Days Inn Friday -  a yearly report on the business climate, work force and future potential of the province's economy.

Joorisity says a key concern is attracting and keeping educated youth here at home in order to fill in for an aging baby boomer population.

She adds Personal Income Taxes for people earning $25,000 or less is the highest in western Canada - and says this could be a reason why youth are leaving.
