The Cypress Health Region has received the results from the review of 227 diagnostic images after concerns were raised about possible misinterpretations.

Executive Health Services Director Christine Mirka says of the 227 X-Rays, only eight reports indicated a variation which was of clinical significance. She says those eight people have been notified, as well as all other patients.

Mirka says they are very pleased that such a small number of patients were affected, although they are always concerned when there is any difference in results in any patients, no matter how few.

The images were called into question after concerns were aired by the College of Physicians and Surgeons about the reading of diagnostic images by Dr. Darius Tsatsi.
