The Saskatchewan Health Authority is reporting 181 new COVID-19 cases in their daily COVID-19 update.

The break down of the cases has 9 in the Far North West, 7 in the Far North East, 16 in North West, 9 in North Central, 6 in the North East, 64 in Saskatoon, 2 in Central West, 1 in Central East, 28 in Regina, 1 in the South West, 10 in South Central, 18 in the South East and 10 new cases have pending residence information. 

This brings the provincial total number of cases to 5,001 with 1,807 of the cases considered active.

In the southwest region, there are now 23 active cases.

There were 63 more recoveries reported today, bringing the provincial total to 3,163.

Sixty-two people are in hospital. Forty-six people are receiving inpatient care; one in the Far North West, one in the Far North East, three in the North West, four in North Central, three in the North East, 25 in Saskatoon, two in Regina, two in the South West, one in South Central and four in the South East zone.

Sixteen people are in intensive care; one in the North West, three in North Central, seven in Saskatoon, two in Central East and three in Regina.

The total number of COVID deaths is now at 31. 

To date, there have been 297,704 COVID-19 tests done in the province.

Yesterday, 2,967 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan.
