The SHA are reporting 20 new cases of the virus in the province.

Of the 20 new cases, there are 7 in the Saskatoon zone, 10 in the Regina zone, 2 in the South East zone and the location of one case is pending. 

The seven new cases reported today in the Saskatoon area are associated with the workplace outbreak previously identified at Brandt Industries. To date, there have been 14 cases linked to the workplace.

That brings the provincial total of cases to 1,807, of which 140 are considered active.

Investigations completed thus far have found that 27 of the 140 current active cases are from communal living settings

In the South West zone there are 4 active cases of COVID-19.

There has been 1 more recovery today, bringing that provincial total to 1,643.

A total of 10 people are in hospital. Nine people are receiving inpatient care; seven of those are in Saskatoon, one is in Regina and one is in the South Central zone. One person is in intensive care in Saskatoon.

There have been 24 deaths related to COVID-19 in the province reported so far.

To date, 171,945 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday there were 2,426 tests performed.
