The Canadian Cancer Society introduced this daffodil pin for this year's daffodil campaign, which has been very popular

Daffodils are a symbol of spring, but to those living with cancer, it is a symbol of strength, courage and life.

April is Daffodil Month across Canada, and this week is Daffodil Week in Swift Current.

Roxana Fryklund, Southwest Unit Manager for the Canadian Cancer Society, says their month-long daffodil campaign has gone very well, adding their new daffodil pins have been a hit.

Fryklund asks everyone to wear their pin in support of people living with cancer, and adds April 27 is Daffodil Day, where she encourages anyone who knows someone with cancer to do something nice for them, such as take them out for a walk or visit with them, just to let them know they care.
