Several Saskatchewan infrastructure projects have been pushed back because of all the rain.

So, projects that received federal stimulus money might not be completed by March 31st, 2011.

The trouble is, if work isn't done by then, the federal government is promising to pull its funding.

A chorus of politicians have called for an extension, but Conservative MP Ray Boughen thinks that kind of talk is a little premature.

Our provincial government believes most, if not all, stimulus construction in the province can be done before the federal money runs out. That despite some municipal leaders saying flooding has put work way behind schedule.
