Traffic was slowed down on the TransCanada Highway yesterday afternoon when a vehicle caught fire.

     RCMP received the call at 2:15pm yesterday afternoon that a truck was engulfed in flames approximately three miles east of Herbert.

  The eastbound lane of the highway was closed, allowing only single lane traffic to proceed.

     The Herbert and Morse Fire Department responded to the incident along with Morse RCMP, who assisted with traffic control.

     No one was injured in the fire, which remains under investigation.
