Vachon Addresses Cabri Meeting

There was a noticible absence at a public meeting on Friday in Cabri.

The Cypress Health Region did not send a representative to the meeting where community members discussed the future of health service in the town.

The town's doctor will be leaving in December.

Cypress Health Region CEO Beth Vachon says discussions are ongoing between the community and the health region, stating they will look at all options when it comes to recruiting physicians to the area.

Vachon adds they were waiting for a sub committee to be formed by the community.

Cabri and surrounding RM's formed the aforementioned sub committee at the meeting on Friday.
