The RCMP has set up a detour around the firey incident using the two westbound lanes for motorists heading in either direction.

The Gull Lake Fire & Rescue has also extinguished the vehicle and small grass fire to the south of the road.

The Trans-Canada Highway east of Webb is currently closed due to a vehicle fire.

According to the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline, the two eastbound lanes are shut down due to the incident that's 7 kilometres from Webb.

Emergency crews are on the scene and asking motorists to use an alternative route.

There is no estimated time of re-opening.
