The holiday festivities in Swift Current will continue into the weekend with a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

The special visit from the North Pole will take place at Cowtown this Saturday for the 10th annual Santa Paws.

Joanne Schatkoski, development manager for the Swift Current SPCA, explained that the event is open to anyone wishing to receive a photo with Santa.

“We’re inviting everybody to bring your pets down to Cowtown from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, and have their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus,” she stated. “You can also bring your whole family down and have a family photo done too. Cost is ten dollars.”

Schatkoski added that all proceeds from the event will go towards supplies and medical bills at the local shelter.

2023 SPCA calendars and SPCA 50/50 tickets will also be available for purchase.

This year, payment will be accepted in the form of Visa, Mastercard, debit, cash, and e-transfer.
