Tonight is the 17th Annual Whale of a Beach Party in Shauanvon.

Sponsored by theWellness and Leisure Committee, the Shaunavon Credit Union, The Shaunavon Co Op and The Eagle 94.1 The Whale of a Beach Party offers an evening of food, music, games and fun for local youth.

"Well the Whale of a Beach Party is our group of sponsors gets together and puts an event on for our youth every year and it's targeted at folks grades seven to twelve," Pat Friesen is the Marketing Coordinator at the Shaunavon Credit Union. "It will be a fun filled evening with lots of games and tons of prizes."

It all goes tonight from 8:00 until 10 p.m. at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool and everything is free of charge.

The grand prize of the evening is $100 cash!
