Wild Night at PBR Event

It was a party atmosphere at the Credit Union iplex for the Redhead Equipment Cody Snyder Invitational PBR Bull Riding on Saturday.

A big crowd took in some exciting bull riding action, and saw Meadow Lake's Cody Coverchuk become the first Saskatchewan cowboy to win the event.

"We've always prided ourselves that if you're going to have great bull riders come to town, you got to have great bulls, and the Canadian bulls were just phenomenal, it was an all-around great pen of bulls," said Event Promoter and World Champion Bull Rider Cody Snyder. "Guys just look forward to coming here, the crowd here just jams this building and it's a great atmosphere. The city has just embraced this event and it's great to come back here."

Snyder says this has become one of the most important events on their tour, and believes it can only get bigger from here.

After the event, the Party in the Dirt featured Canadian country music star Julian Austin.
