Swift Current golfer Brent Wotypka missed the cut yesterday at the Golf Canada Senior Men's Championship in Scarborough, ON.

After an opening round 83 on Tuesday, Wotypka shot a +8 (79) at Cedar Brae Golf Club. He finished at +20, missing the cut by six strokes.

Wotypka's round opened steadily with three pars, but a double bogey on the fourth hole dropped him to +14, and at the edge of the cut line.

He finished the front nine with two more pars, two bogeys, and a birdie. The back nine brought five bogeys and four pars.

Wotypka finished as the fifth-best golfer from Saskatchewan in the 156-man field.
