A Winnipeg man has pleaded guilty to two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking after 41 pounds of marijuana and just under 9000 tablets of ecstacy were found in his vehicle.

     Ahmad Fareed Yousofi had the drugs in hidden compartments lined along the walls of his 2005 Dodge Caravan.

     The marijuana had a street value of around $100,000, while the ecstacy tablets had a street value of anywhere from $180,000 to $360,000.

     Yousofi received a 2-year jail sentence, and is not allowed to possess any firearms for the rest of his life.  He also forfeited his vehicle, the drugs he was carrying, and some cell phones to the authorities.
