The La Ronge Ice Wolves forced a 7th and deciding game in the ANAVET Cup, beating Portage 1-0 on the road Saturday night.
Frontier's
Dayton Fossum, Kyle's Byron Sorenson and Swift Current's Myles Hovdebo
are on the Wolves' lineup. Game seven goes tonight in Portage La Prairie.
There will also be a game seven tonight in the Doyle Cup, with Spruce
Grove beating the Vernon Vipers 2-0 last night. Herbert's Blake Voth is
the backup goalie for the BCHL champs.
The winners of both series will advance to the RBC Royal Bank Cup starting April 30 in Camrose, AB. The Vernon Vipers have won the national championship the last two years.
