The Swift Current Broncos have added some size and strength to their lineup today.
They dealt a conditional 6th round bantam draft pick in 2017 to Seattle for American forward Calvin Spencer. The 6'1, 216lbs Spencer has 19 points in 100 career WHL games with the Thunderbirds.
“He’s an aggressive player who is good on the fore-check, kills penalties and brings character to our team” said Bronco Coach and General Manager Mark Lamb of Spencer.
He brings a physical game and has fought 7 times throughout his career. Spencer is also the half-brother of Winnipeg Jets defenceman Dustin Byfuglien.
