The Broncos were skated through a hard battle at practice yesterday, with a message attached.

The message is that they need to work harder and play for a full 60 minutes, which is something Head Coach/General Manager Dean Chynoweth says they have not been doing.

The team is coming off of a disappointing 4-2 loss to Brandon on Tuesday.  Brandon jumped on a flat Broncos team and led 3-0 after the first period.

Chynoweth says the message to the players should be clear.  "I want us to compete and battle from the opening face-off to the final buzzer.  Our group has shown they can do that, but the disappointing part against the better teams is that we are beating ourselves.  People say we can't beat the better teams, well I still think we can if our best guys are our best guys, we compete from whistle to whistle, and play for 60 minutes.  We haven't done that, we just haven't done that against those upper echelon teams."

The club also spent most of the afternoon after practice going over video.

The Broncos host the Kootenay Ice tomorrow night.
