The Swift Current Broncos made some more roster moves on Monday, re-assigning defenceman Colby Sissons and forwards Tyler Adams and Austin Calladine.

Sissons will be going back to the SSAC Midget AAA team in Edmonton, while Adams will be returning to the Regina Pat Canadians of the SMAAAHL.

"With Sissons, he's a young guy that had a really good camp and he's got a really good future, but he needs to go back and play," said Broncos Head Coach and GM Mark Lamb. "With all our NHL defence gone, we got to keep him around and give him more experience, which would be really good for him, and we expect him to go back and have a really good year, and push to make the team next year... he's a real good kid, he totally understands, and it's going to be an exciting year for him.

"Adams is older, and he got hurt, so he couldn't play the last couple of games, but he needs to go back and he needs to turn into more of a power forward," Lamb added. "He's a big guy that is real smart, and he needs to go back and play good, not necessarily put up big numbers, if he plays the right way, they will happen for him."

Adams and Sissons both signed Standard WHL Player Agreements with the Broncos during this season's training camp.

Calladine's Junior A rights are held by the SJHL's Flin Flon Bombers, and Lamb says he's hopeful that he can have a good season there and find his way back into the WHL.

"He caught our eye and he was a role player, he killed penalties very well, but numbers caught up," he said. "We couldn't guarantee anything here in terms of ice time, which we never do anyway, and it's better for him to go back and play. He's going to go back to Flin Flon and he'll get a lot of ice time, and if he goes back and plays really good, maybe he can get back into the league."

The Broncos return to action on Friday when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings, and will also welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings to the Credit Union iplex on Saturday night.
