The Broncos couldn't have asked for a better start in game three, it's the middle they want back so desperately.

The Broncos jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead just 8 minutes into the game before the Regina Pats came back with four straight to take control of the game.   The teams traded goals late in the 2nd period to give Regina a 5-3 lead after two period.

A Jeremy Schenderling powerplay goal with 12 minutes to play, brought the Broncos within one but they couldn't find the tying goal as the Pats held on for a 5-4 win and now a 2-1 series lead in the best-of-seven.

Schenderling actually finished the night with the hat-trick scoring the 1st, 3rd and 4th Bronco goals.  Brady Leavold had the other marker in the 1st period.  The Broncos outshot the Pats 42-31 as Regina found some holes on Kyle Moir.

Special teams was again a factor as the Broncos were a paltry 1 for 12 on the powerplay.  The Pats were 1 for 6 with the man advantage.

Game four is tonight at the Civic Center.  Face-off at 7:30pm, the Eagle 94.1 FM begins coverage at 7pm.
